Eulogies, the One Am Radio and Sara Lov perform (and Silversun Pickups and Jimmy Tamborello DJ) at the event benefiting the Children’s Hospital charity named for cancer-stricken 5-year-old Pablo Castelaz, son of Dangerbird Records honcho Jeff Castelaz. (The 2-disc benefit album “Give Listen Help” is available at the Urban Outfitters there, too). … Across Cahuenga, the terrific trio of Gary Jules, Jim Bianco and Ian Ball are lined up to play the Hotel Cafe. … And not far away, the Dresden Dolls’ Amanda Palmer goes it solo at the Music Box at Fonda, while Mercury Rev [pictured] plays the El Rey Theatre. They’re also appearing on KCRW-FM at 11:15 this morning. … At Spaceland, Karin Tatoyan performs her mystical avant-pop on a bill including War Tapes and Seasons. … And it’s Flyleaf pals Resident Hero at the Troubadour; Black Apples at the Silverlake Lounge; and Native Fauna at the Echo.
