I hear much more 60's influence than 90's. Those are some pretty weak references in my opinion (Come on Matchbox 20... Never in my imagination). I love that album. You journalists need to embrace a good pop song every once in a while. The review reminds me of the same chauvinist dribble that pitchfork spews out. Its what you'd expect from a blog called "buzzbands"... Lets get behind the here today, gone tomorrows... it’s bound to find some kind of audience. Just not me. That Lemon Sun review is way off base.
