We don’t process a lot of hip-hop here at Buzz Bands HQ [go here if you don't already], but with a big show headlined by fast-rising U-N-I coming up this weekend, I figure it’d be a nice time to introduce Audible Mainframe. The Boston expatriates’ rock- and soul-infused rap has gone down like a happy pill to a lot of local fans, and the six-piece ensemble scored big earlier this year when they took top honors in the AirWalk Unsigned Hero Competition. The victory earned them cash, a bunch of gear and a slot to perform on Spin’s stage at South by Southwest in March. The group’s sophomore album, “Transients,” was released Aug. 25, and “Anybody Else” kicks it off.

This band kills it live. Have seen them at venues large and small, and they never fail to deliver.

Couldn’t agree more with Anastaia – the band is insane and kills it no matter a small or big venue. Looking forward to the next big show. Real talent is hard to find, especially live and Audible Mainframe deserves the real deal.
