Electro-soul sensation Jamie Lidell blew through L.A. last week, hitting KCRW for a show you can hear here and playing the Echoplex on Thursday. I caught him at Lollapalooza and thought his music is a different (read: better) beast when he performs it with a full band. And many of the fans at the Echoplex seemed to feel the same way. Photographer Andrew Herrold sent along this gallery.
I love Jamie! Full band is definitely the way to go for him though.
I had to fight for us to present his show before. Nic wasn’t a fan, and thought he had no fans apparently. Now he’s on MBE. Interesting.
