Two big darned deals:

Guns N’ Roses’ big tour comes to the Forum. Interesting interview with Axl Rose in today’s L.A. Times.
Common headlines the House of Blues behind his released-just-in-time-for-Christmas new album “The Dreamer/The Believer,” which features an original poem by Maya Angelou.

Two tasty club shows:

‣ L.A. quartet Flora & Fauna [see our post on “Secret Preference”], pictured, headlines the Bootleg Bar on a night that features the first proper club show of Alex Casnoff’s new project Harriet [see “I Slept With All Your Mothers”] and Tucson-based songstress Tracy Shedd [see “Encourage Me”].
‣ And speaking of fauna (go figure), Noah and the MegaFauna bring the gypsy jazz-inspired music off their debut album “Anthems for a Stateless Nation” to the Echo, with Timur and the Dime Museum and One Trick Pony opening. [More on the MegaFauna.]
