Premiere: Lots of Love, ‘Come to Life’

0

Lots of Love is the nom de tune of singer-songwriter Jessica Fleischer, whose deft touch with ’60s-styled pop reminds me of plenty of coquettish charmers who inspired unrequited crushes back in the day. Her music is being produced by Robert Schwartzman of Rooney, and Lots of Love’s album, planned for a March release, will come out on his California Dreamin’ Records. The first video places Fleischer squarely among the legions of songwriters wrestling with matters of the heart. It’s directed by her sister Rachel, the filmmaker and activist responsible for the documentary “Without a Home.” Artist/actor Gregory Siff and Michael Fujikawa (the drummer in Chief) play love interests. As for the singer herself, she comes to life.
