If you live in New York, Cat Power‘s music video for “Manhattan” may warm your heart. Even for those of us in L.A., the clip directed by Chan Marshall and Greg Hunt (who also helped direct “Cherokee”) featuring Marshall walking the streets and subway may prompt a visit to the Big Apple. And for those of you who may not care in the slightest about the East Coast, you can at least appreciate a pretty montage of an artist dedicating a song to her years as a Lower East Side staple during the ’90s. Cat Power’s latest album “Sun” is out now on Matador.
