Have a wonderful Wednesday:

‣ Woodkid, originally scheduled to make his L.A. debut at the Luckman last November before Superstorm Sandy confounded his travel plans, brings his highly cinematic music to the Fonda Theatre. The musical persona of French director, graphic artist and songwriter Yoann Lemoine (who’s done video for a host of A-listers), Woodkid released his album”The Golden Age” in March, and his video trilogy (that’s “Run Boy Run,” above) is at 28 million views and counting. Here’s a post that talks about all three videos.
Bleached does its first L.A. date since the April release of its full-length “Ride Your Heart” – the band visits the Troubadour, supported by Ex Cops and Tijuana Panthers.
Akron/Family plays the Echo behind its new release “Sub Verses,” supported by vi Buffalo, M Geddes and Gengras.
‣ And Meiko returns to the Hotel Café on a night that also features Grizfolk and Willie Watson.
