It’s been over a year since we heard the infectious “Peaches” from L.A. electro duo In the Valley below. Although we have yet to see a full-length, the duo is gearing up their second EP titled “Man Girl.” They’ve got a Monday night residency at the Echo in support of the new EP as well as a new kaleidoscopic music video for the slow-burning “Hymnal.” In the midst of glowing honeycomb-like visuals, In the Valley Below’s Jeffrey Jacob and Angela Gail’s piercing stares cut through for a sinister yet seductive mood. Look ’em in the eyes in a live setting, and you might do more than swoon. “Man Girl” is out Tuesday on Capitol.
