Wow, what a Wednesday:

‣ Nashville indie-pop quintet Wild Cub return to L.A. (they packed the Bootleg back in January) for a headlining show at the El Rey Theatre, with Grizfolk supporting. Above, their video for “Thunder Clatter.”
‣ Punk-rock trio the Coathangers head up an audacious night at the Echo – the Bots (see them while it’s affordable) and White Fang support. And Cobalt Cranes perform in celebration of their new album “Days in the Sun.”
Christopher Owens [see “Nothing More Than Everything to Me”] plays the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
‣ Form an orderly line. Spoon is at Amoeba at 6 p.m.
‣ Ohio trio All Dogs is joined by pop-punk quartet Upset [see this] at the Bootleg HiFi, with Susan and Baby Ghosts supporting.
‣ And it’s the legendary Herbie Hancock at the Hollywood Bowl.
