L.A. psych-pop quintet White Arrows have postponed Friday’s show at the El Rey Theatre because of illness. A makeup date has not yet been announced, but it will come at the end of the current tour, which scheduled to resume next Tuesday in Phoenix and concludes Feb. 19 in Salt Lake City.

Lead singer Mickey Church has been battling a debilitating cold and sore throat for two weeks, he reports, adding, “I am having trouble singing or speaking at a reasonable volume without serious pain. … I have never missed a practice or a show so this is very difficult for me.”

White Arrows’ sophomore album, “in Bardo,” came out in September.
