Refused are back — the Swedish hardcore outfit [pictured] will release their first album in 17 years on June 30 (“Freedom,” via Epitaph), and they play the first of two SoCal dates tonight at the Observatory, supported by Turbonegro and White Lung.
The Moth & the Flame and Freedom Fry wind up their co-residency at the Echo, with Fictionist and the New Electric Sound joining in.
Cillie Barnes concludes her residency at the Satellite — get there early for Whispertown, Aaron Embry and Bestie.
► It’s the final night of the Golden Coast residency at the Bootleg HiFi as well, and Carolina Liar, Moons of Mars and Prism Tats are along.
Benny Cassette joins Mike Posner, Frankie and Main Attrakionz at It’s a School Night at Bardot.
