Synth-pop icon Gary Numan will play three of his most highly regarded albums in their entirety over a three-night residency in the Los Angeles beginning Sept. 29. The shows come after Numan wound up a long tour behind 2013’s “Splinter (Songs From A Broken Mind).” The shows, at the new Teragram Ballroom, will feature the 57-year-old performing his 1979 Tubeway Army album “Replicas” on Sept. 29; his solo debut from the same year “The Pleasure Principle” on Sept. 30; and 1980’s “Telekon” on Oct. 1.

In a press release, Numan explains: “I very rarely look back at past glories, but with these shows I intend to not only look back, but to celebrate those early days. Without those songs and experiences I wouldn’t be here today.”

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for the Sept. 29, Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 shows.
