The Jesus and Mary Chain add two pre-FYF shows at the Fonda; it’s ‘Psychocandy’ at 30

Jesus and Mary Chain

The Jesus and Mary Chain have added two more SoCal shows to their pre-FYF Fest itinerary — back-to-back nights at the Fonda Theatre during which they will play their debut album “Psychocandy” from front to back.

The Scottish rockers had previously announced an Aug. 13 show at the Glass House, with Cold Cave opening. A Place to Bury Strangers will support JAMC at the Fonda shows on Aug. 19 and 20. They play FYF on Aug. 22.

Presale tickets for the Aug. 19 and 20 shows go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday (use password “JUSTLIKEHONEY”); regular on-sale is Friday.
