Talk about a lineup that covers all the bases. When surf-rock subversives the Growlers stage their annual Beach Goth festival on Oct. 24 and 25 at the Observatory, they will welcome the likes of Grimes, Die Antwoord, Julian Casablancas, Warpaint, FIDLAR, Wanda Jackson, Camera Obscura, Moving Units, Eagles of Death Metal, Del The Funky Homosapien, Sir Mix-A-Lot and Touché Amoré. That’s some polyglot taste.
Two-days passes for Beach Goth 4 — which is hosted by Tom Green and will feature a Pauly Shore sighting — are $100. They go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday here. There are more than 40 bands in all over three stages (plus a surprise guest, assuming that’s what the “??? ???????” is about) with the hosts playing both days.
