The new music video for “Love Spills” by Missouri punk trio Radkey is practically a PSA for bad parenting, and frankly suggests that boys can be big, dumb, jerks … but at least they have a good time? It begins with the Radkey guys taking home a scrumptious looking pizza, followed by some skaters doing their thing, skating and bullying their “friend.” The whole thing takes a turn when a distraught mommy has “accidentally” locked her baby in the car and asks the skaters for help. Come on, mommies, don’t use your babies to lure skater boys. The lyrics to “Love Spills” depict an evil villain’s desire to terrorize the city he loves, and can be found on Radkey’s new album, “Dark Black Makeup,” out Aug. 21 on the band’s own label, Little Man Records. Radkey says the album is about “sadistic, evil people — the kind of things that make you feel uneasy.” In which case, the Alex Nicholas-directed video hits the projectile-vomit covered mark.
