Tame Impala does the first of two nights on the Fairbanks Lawn at Hollywood Forever Cemetery behind their new album “Currents.”
► U.K. quartet Django Django headline the El Rey Theatre in support of their new album “Born Under Saturn.” Beat Connection opens.
► Her fifth album “Short Movie” having come out in March, Laura Marling plays downtown’s Palace Theatre.
► New Orleans’ Hurray for the Riff Raff plays the Sunset Concerts series at the Skirball Center.
► It’s “Australia Rocks the Pier” night at the Twilight Concert Series, which brings Ben Browning (of Cut Copy) and DMA’s to the Santa Monica Pier for a free show.
► And Unknown Mortal Orchestra headlines the Roxy Theatre behind their new album “Multi-Love, joined by Vinyl Williams, who just released a new album of his own, “Into,” last month.
