The Mynabirds visited the Echo on Friday night behind their new album “Lovers Know,” and it was one of those exuberant, we-made-it-through-a-month-long tour affairs. Following a typically smashing and sweaty support set from the Dead Ships — blasting tunes from their “EP I” and more — Mynabirds songbird Laura Burhenn opened with the intimate “What We Lose in the Fire We Gain in the Flood,” performed solo at the keyboard. The band joined her for the rest, which included “Velveteen,” “Believer,” “Semantics,” “All My Heart,” “One Foot” and “Wildfire” from the new album. Singer Rebecca Marie Miller guested on three songs, and for “Wildfire,” the Mynabirds were joined by tourmates Bad Bad Hats, the Minneapolis quartet that won hearts and ears with the second set of the night. Crown Plaza opened the show.
