► Sturgill Simpson holds forth at the Theatre at Ace Hotel, with Billy Wayne Davis supporting.
► It’s Zeds Dead and Aryay at the Fonda Theatre.
► The Cult (who have a new album “Hidden City” due Feb. 6) and Primal Scream team up for a big night at the Hollywood Palladium.
► Scottish indie-rockers We Were Promised Jetpacks headline the Teragram Ballroom, supported by Seoul.
► Bay Area indie-poppers Trails & Ways headline the Bootleg Theater behind their debut album “Pathology.” Get there early for Babes and Breakfast.
