Never one to rest on his laurels, Ty Segall is diving head first into the new year with his latest ensemble, Ty Segall & The Muggers. With Kyle Thomas of King Tuff, Mikal Cronin, Emmett Kelly of The Cairo Gang, and Corey Hanson and Evan Burrows of Wand backing Segall, this supergroup riled up the Teragram Ballroom. Unhampered by a guitar and not hidden behind a drum kit, Segall was able to get up close and personal with the crowd on several occasions. Perhaps a little too personal in some instances, with Ty drooling onto the stage and into fans’ hands.
