Omar Velasco [see our interview] continues his residency at the Bootleg Theater on a Buzz Bands LA-presented night that features Leslie Stevens and Alex Siegel supporting.
► The first of two nights of the The Mayer Hawthorne Revue features a musical trifecta of the Michigan native — performances by Jaded Incorporated, Tuxedo and Mayer Hawthorne & The County.
► It’s Lupe Fiasco at the Fonda Theatre, along with the Boy Illinois, Billy Blue and ZVerse.
SWIMM continue their residency at the Echoplex, supported by Andy Clockwise and Wolf Prize at the Echoplex
► It’s a School Night moves from its Hollywood location downtown to Resident this week, with Parisian trio Wall of Death [see “For a Lover”] heading up a lineup that includes the Kickback and the Slightlys.
Magic Bronson continue their residency at the Satellite, joined by Nicky Blitz, Grit and Ramonda Hammer.
