► Omar Velasco [see our interview] continues his residency at the Bootleg Theater on a Buzz Bands LA-presented night that features Leslie Stevens and Alex Siegel supporting.
► The first of two nights of the The Mayer Hawthorne Revue features a musical trifecta of the Michigan native — performances by Jaded Incorporated, Tuxedo and Mayer Hawthorne & The County.
► It’s Lupe Fiasco at the Fonda Theatre, along with the Boy Illinois, Billy Blue and ZVerse.
► SWIMM continue their residency at the Echoplex, supported by Andy Clockwise and Wolf Prize at the Echoplex
► It’s a School Night moves from its Hollywood location downtown to Resident this week, with Parisian trio Wall of Death [see “For a Lover”] heading up a lineup that includes the Kickback and the Slightlys.
► Magic Bronson continue their residency at the Satellite, joined by Nicky Blitz, Grit and Ramonda Hammer.
