PWR BTTM, the gender-bending punk duo from New York who’ve taken drag culture into garage-rock, brought their audacious live show to the Bootleg Theater on Tuesday night, performing songs off their debut LP “Ugly Cherries.” Ben Hopkins and Liv Bruce traded off guitar and drums, thrashing, head-banging, vamping and dispensing their messages of social justice and gender equality. L.A. bands Post Life and UPSET opened the show.
