Friday’s Los Angeles concerts:

Dr. Dog headlines the Wiltern behind their new release, “The Psychedelic Swamp” — material originally written in the early days of the band and released on cassette, now fully realized as a studio album.
Film School [see “City Lights”], having reassembled the lineup that made its 2006 album for Beggars Banquet, headline the Echo, supported by United Ghosts and GUIDES.
► Their debut album “We Are King” out earlier this month, L.A. trio KING visit the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
► At the Echoplex, it’s the Seth Bogart Show, described as a “live televisual performance starring Bogart (ex-Hunx & His Punx) with visuals by JJ Stratford.” The show is the album-release party for Bogart’s Burger Records debut, out today — as it is for openers Geneva Jacuzzi, whose album “Technophelia” is also just out.
L.A. Girlfriend celebrates the release of her new album “Neon Grey” with a show at Resident, with Cold Violets supporting.
► And Disco Shrine celebrate the release of their new EP, “Soft Fur” with a show at the Hi Hat. Little Wolves, King Shelter and Tambourines support.
