Leon Russell, Booker T and more at 2016 Simi Valley Cajun & Blues Fest

Leon Russell, Booker T, Eric Burdon and the Rebirth Brass Band head up the lineup for the 25th annual Simi Valley Cajun & Blues Festival, coming Memorial Day weekend.

The two-stage festival will host music from noon to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, May 28 and 29, at Rancho Santa Susanna Community Park (5005 Los Angeles Ave.).

The event boasts a strong Louisiana flavor, with a Mardi Gras parade, one stage devoted to Cajun and Zydeco music and plenty of food booths.

Weekend passes are $35; single-day tickets are $20 in advance and available here.
