TUFT, the L.A. indie-rock outfit formerly known as Hi Ho Silver Oh, warned a week ago that their album-release show might be so much fun that they might explode. Well, nothing blew up Thursday night at the Hi Hat, but the band was fairly explosive, negotiating the tricky harmonies, riffs and dynamic shifts in the songs on their debut “Look Look,” out today. They had a horn section in tow as well to give the songs a fulll and proper airing. Oregon’s Holiday Friends and L.A. quartet Boroughs opened the night.
