Philadelphia quartet Nothing brought its crushing and crush-worthy shoegaze to the Echoplex on Thursday night, sharing the bill with four other bands who do varying degrees of noisy/pretty, ’90s-informed rock. Nothing is touring behind their new album “Tired of Tomorrow,” and there was a weird twist to Thursday’s proceedings: The Echoplex was the place to buy tickets to a secret YG show happening later Thursday night at the Regent Theater, so there were occasional shouts of “YG” throughout the night. And when Nothing went on, they humorously introduced themselves as YG.

Tourmates Culture Abuse and Wrong preceded Nothing, with L.A. trio Tennis System making a gloriously dreamy racket before that, and Bad Jesus opening the night.
