Mondays Los Angeles concerts:

The Strokes perform at “The City of Angels Benefit Concert” at the Wiltern.
► Brooklyn songstress Janelle Kroll heads up the lineup at It’s a School Night at Bardot, joined by Night Lights, Elayna Boynton and Michigan Rattlers.
► L.A. quartet Forebear have announced they are going on “indefinite hiatus” — this just prior to the Aug. 26 release of their new album “Good God.” They’ve been doing the Monday night residency at the Silverlake Lounge, and tonight’s show (with Swarming Orchids, Sympathetic Frequencies and Mossbreaker) is their last before they take a break.
► The rest of July’s stellar residencies also wind up tonight: Valley Queen at the Bootleg Theater (with Reggie Watts, Travesura and the Diamond Light); Feels (at the Echo (joined by Adult Books, Cat Signs and the Baltic); TeamMate at the Satellite (supported by Outasight, Mike Taylor and Party Nails); and Wetwood Smokes at the Wayfarer (with Bird & the War and Morgan Mallory).
► Bay area quartet Happy Diving roar down the coast for a show at the Hi Hat, supported by Gem and Doses.
► And Emerson Star, Fellow Bohemian and Cold Violets rock the weekly L.A. music showcase at Harvard & Stone.
