► Ohana Festival closes out with Lana Del Rey‘s torch songs, Canadian folkies City and Colour, Cat Power brilliant ramblings, Corinne Bailey Rae‘s neo soul, Americana with Ryan Bingham and more, at Doheny State Beach.
► A night at the Hollywood Bowl features our greatest living jazz guitarist George Benson, funky Scots the Average White Band, and smoooth fusion with Jeff Lorber.
► In what could be the best party jam of the summer, Kool & the Gang, Bootsy Collins, Doug E. Fresh and Morris Day & the Time play the Microsoft Theater.
► Bay Area classic rock giants Journey and Santana co-headline at the Forum.
