The many faces, angles and moods of singer-songwriter Justin David Bocchieri are explored in the subtly odd video for Paper Pilots’ pop gem “The Weather.” Directed Joel Knoernschild and featuring geometrical effects that change like, well, the weather, it builds to something of a Queen moment. It’s kind of a strange visual considering the sunny disposition of the song, one of just a handful of originals the quartet has officially released. It remains Paper Pilots’ calling card, a euphoric, organic blend of the West Coast sound and Britpop. More pop like this, please.
