How much love was there at the Wiltern on Thursday night for Catfish & the Bottlemen? So much Larry the guitar tech got a huge ovation when he came out to set up for the headliners’ set after Worn Flints opened. The BRIT Award-winning classic rockers, touring in support of their second album “Ride,” kept fans’ fists pumping and voices raised all night, performing “Soundcheck,” “Twice” and “Kathleen” and giving the crowd a participation moment when frontman Van McCann, solo, did “Hourglass” and let the audience since many of the parts back at him. As is their habit, they wrapped their set with “Tyrants.”
