If you haven’t heard the news yet, Beach Goth — the festival that the Growlers annually host and curate — has switched locations. (And some aren’t happy about it.) Originally announcing 2016’s new location at Orange County’s Oak Canyon Park in Silverado, the festival recently announced via email that it will be returning to its original location, the Observatory in Santa Ana. “We thought it was a beautiful place and it could work,” Growlers main man Brooks Nielsen told the Register. “I think they got scared that we were going to be really big. I’m not happy about it. Those kinds of things make this not fun.”

Anyway, although the music venue and its parking lot isn’t as enticing as the nature out in the wide-open spaces, Beach Goth’s lineup still stands strong with an eclectic lineup featuring Bon Iver, James Blake, King Krule, TLC, Patti Smith, Justice, Grimes, Gucci Mane and plenty more. So while awaiting the late-arriving announcement of set times, stream our playlist to get in the zone for this weekend.

Both general admission and VIP tickets (single or weekend) are still available for purchase.
