Austin’s spooky-sweet macabre pop band Tele Novella — Natalie Ribbons, Jason Chronis, Sarah La Puerta and Matt Simon — released their debut full-length album, “House Of Souls,” two months ago on Yellow Year Records. It’s the follow-up to 2015’s EP, “Cosmic Dial Tone,” released by Lollipop Records, and furthers their heartfelt belief that Halloween is a year-round state of mind. In the interests of continue to indulge the adorable side of scary things, their latest video, “Even Steven,” directed by L.A. artist Amber McCall, pairs collage, cutesy doodles and clay figures with a cautionary message against getting trapped in Steven’s web of evil.
