Amber Bain — aka The Japanese House — visited the Echo on Wednesday night, showcasing tunes from her three acclaimed EPs, “Pools To Bathe In,” “Clean” and the new “Swim Against the Tide.” Bain’s brooding tunes were juxtaposed with the high-energy set delivered by opening quartet the Big Moon, whose debut album arrives in April.
