► The fourth NYE in downtown Los Angeles’ Grand Park is a family affair. This year Jungle Fire, QVLN, Afrodyete, Lyric Jones, DJ Expo, L.A. Samba Dancers, Jose Marquez, Gazoo Olmeda, Victoria Van Damn, DJ Paris Paul, DJ Rell, play across three musical stages, along with 3D video mapping, art projections, food trucks and much fun. ► St. Paul & the Broken Bones, Citizen Cope and Cut Copy (DJ set) at Downtown Long Beach Square (Sharon Jones was scheduled to appear but she tragically passed away on Nov. 18). Tickets

► Prohibition NYE returns to downtown’s Union Station (on the ticket concourse) with a Roaring Twenties theme and the music of Autograf and more. Tickets $165.

► Minimal Effort does a techno/house NYE with live performances from Recondite, Stephan Bodzin, Audion, and Nicola Cruz, plus standout DJ sets by Simian Mobile Disco, Amtrac, Chrome Sparks and more, to 740 S. Broadway. Three stages over 12 hours. Tickets start at $49.

► Sunset Strip debauchery with LA Guns and Faster Pussycat at the world famous Whiskey a Go-Go. Tickets are $119

► The delightful pop stylings of Pink Martini at Walt Disney Concert Hall. Tickets start at $77

► A punkalicious good time at Pappy & Harriet’s with the Melvins, OFF! and Redd Kross. Tickets $50

► Prophecy Ball brings Solar Sons, Golden Animals, Veroinca Bianqui and more to the Beckett Mansion for a psychedelic night.

► 2 Chains, Lil Uzi Vert and Wiz Khalifa hold court at Penthouse in WeHo. Tickets start at $96.

► Dance Yourself Clean at the Teragram. Tickets start at $72.
