Los Angeles concerts for Wednesday:

TV Girl, whose full-length “Who Really Cares” came out early last year, kick off a month-long tour with a show at Resident. Lanterns, who emerged from a four-year slumber in December to release their first album since 2010, “End Times Blues,” open, along with Poppet.
Flying Hair, who have a new album on the way this year, headline a free night at the Echo, joined by Child, Melted Bodies and Dancing Tongues.
Shit Giver celebrate the release of their album “Life …” with a show at the Hi Hat; get there early for Ablebody and Post Life.
► And the Nick Valentini Collective rock the Bootleg Theater, joined by Wake the Wild and Jackbenny.
