Billy Joel to play Dodger Stadium on May 13

Six-time Grammy winner and multi-million-selling songwriter Billy Joel will play at Dodger Stadium on May 13, it was announced today.

It will be the 67-year-old’s only Southern California appearance in 2017 and continues a run of stadium and arena concerts he has given over the past few years.

Tickets range from $49.50 to $139.50; they go on sale Monday for American Express members here; the general on-sale begins at 10 a.m. Jan. 13 here.

Fun fact: Joel (born William Martin Joel) was the piano player and lounge singer, performing under the name Bill Martin, at the Executive Room in Los Angeles in the 1970s.
