Facing an uncertain future,  storied DIY space The Smell celebrated its 19th anniversary with a weekend of shows — the marquee event being a show at the Belasco Theater that brought some of the venue’s famous alumni, including Best Coast and No Age, together for a fundraiser.

Proceeds for the show went to the venue’s relocation fund. Last summer, landlords notified the Smell that they had received permission to demolish the venue, and although nothing appears imminent, the Smell is looking for a new home and financing for it.

Best Coast, who played as a three-piece,  and No Age, who played some new songs, were joined by HEALTH, Ty Segall, Bleached and Vice Cooler.
