U2 will visit the Rose Bowl on May 20 as part of the North American leg of “The Joshua Tree Tour 2017,” celebrating the 30-year anniversary of that historic album.

The Lumineers will open the L.A. date, the fourth on a tour that begins May 12 in Vancouver, B.C. The tour will include U2’s first-ever U.S. festival headlining gig — Bonnaroo. After the North American dates, U2 will follow with eight stadium shows in Europe.

Tickets for the U.S. shows go on sale Wednesday for subscribers to U2.com. General on-sale is at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17. Tickets for the Rose Bowl show ($35-$280) will be available here.

“The Joshua Tree,” U2’s fifth album, was released March 9, 1987.
