The Wild Reeds, Vōx and more added to GIRLSCHOOL 2017 lineup

L.A. folk faves the Wild Reeds and electronic siren Vōx are among the additions to the lineup for the second annual GIRLSCHOOL, a three-day festival/conference of women-fronted music and education. A “special guest” is yet to be announced.

Going off Jan. 27-29 at the Bootleg Theater, GIRLSCHOOL today announced the three-day schedule for panels and roundtables. In addition to the Wild Reeds and Vōx, DJ sets from Mereki, Bleached and Play Like a Girl were added to an entertainment lineup that already included Chelsea Wolfe, the Bird and The Bee, Francisca Valenzuela, Deap Vally, Caroline Smith, Pearl Charles, Winter, Rituals of Mine, Luna Shadows, Madame Gandhi, Starcrawler, Trace, Kid Wave, Liphemra, KONA and Soto Voce, plus DJ sets from Gavin Turek, Tamaryn, Honey Power and Val Fleury.

Weekend passes are $45 and available here; single-day tickets, at $16, are available for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
