Post-punk legends Wire will celebrate 40 years this spring with the release of their 15th album, “Silver/Lead” and by mounting a three-day festival, DRILL, at the Echo and Echoplex.

DRILL’s Wire-curated lineup — Thursday, March 30 through Saturday, April 1 — includes Bob Mould (solo electric), Laetitia Sadier (solo), Julia Holter (solo), FITTED (Bob Lee, Graham Lewis, Matthew Simms and Mike Watt), Immersion and more. Wire will headline the April 1 show, the 40th anniversary of their first show. The Friday night headliner is yet to be announced.

Tickets break down like this:

A three-day pass is $46.50
Thursday (Bob Mould and more), $32.50
Friday (headliner TBA, Laetitia Sadler and more), $18.50
Saturday (Wire, Julia Holter, Mild High Club and more), $23.50

Wire — original members, Colin Newman, Graham Lewis and Robert Grey along with Matt Simms — also unveiled a new song from the album, the gritty, insistent “Short Elevated Period.”
