It’s Not Dead 2 to feature Rancid, Dropkick Murphys and more on Aug. 26

Punk-rock campaigners Rancid and Dropkick Murphys head up the lineup for It’s Not Dead 2 — the one-day festival at the Glen Helen Festival Grounds in San Bernardino that launched in 2015 with a lineup that looked like your uncle’s dream Warped Tour.
The roster for this year — which goes off Saturday, Aug. 26 — also includes Buzzcocks, OFF!, A Wilhelm Scream, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Channel 3, the Casualties, GBH and U.S. Bombs, among others. It’s the brainchild of Warped tour founder Kevin Lyman, who says: “Ever since the first It’s Not Dead, people have told me how much fun they had. So when Rancid and The Dropkick Murphys reached out, I said, ‘Let’s do it again.’” The event also fetaures the pop-up art exhibition “Art’s Not Dead” and the “Punks Well Read” book-signing and literary area.
Tickets start at $30 and go on sale at 9 a.m. Monday.
