Above: Long-running U.K. indie-rockers the Wedding Present released their ninth album, and first double-LP, “Going, Going …” last year. It’s something of a travelogue, emotional and geographic, inspired by main man David Gedge’s drive across the U.S. The band visits the Echo for an early show on Saturday night (doors at 6) supported by Colleen Green. It’s been a while since the Weddoes (as they are known) have played here, so this one is not to be missed. Tickets.
