Breakout R&B singer Khalid, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Eric Burdon & the Animals, Aussie dance-pop sensations Miami Horror and L.A. indie-rockers Warpaint highlight the lineup at this summer’s Twilight Concert Series at the Santa Monica Pier.
The free concerts, part of the KCRW Summer Nights Series and presented this year by Snap Inc., run for eight Thursday nights from June 22 to Aug. 17.
The other headliners for the genre-spanning series are Lematire, Marcia Griffiths, Valerie June and Mon Laferte.
It’s the 33rd season of the Santa Monica series, one of the largest free concert ventures in the U.S.

Getting there will be easier this year: Concert-goers are encouraged to take the new Expo Line. In addition, an Uber/Lyft dropoff zone has been added at Olympic and Main, and an extra bike valet is available at Ocean and Broadway.
