► L.A. duo Girlpool kick off a long tour in support of their new album “Powerplant” with a show at the Teragram Ballroom. Snail Mail and Rose Dorn open.
► Vancouver electro-rockers Mother Mother hit the Troubadour behind their new album, “No Culture,” with Smoke Season and Preston Graves opening.
► Fenech-Soler and Knox Hamilton bring their co-headlining tour to the Roxy, where O.C. quartet Hawai kicks off the night.
► L.A.-via-New York producer Lauv does a sold-out early show (doors 7 p.m.) at the Echo, joined by Molly Kate Kestner and CVBZ.
► Boston indie-rockers Air Traffic Controller visit the Satellite, joined by the Brevet and Low Hums.
► And French electronic musician Fakear plays the Bootleg Theater, with Pink Sock opening.
