KCSN (88.5 FM, streaming at KCSN.org)

Update: Due to circumstances beyond my control, the show is airing at 11 p.m. tonight instead of 9.

Having spent some time combing through the Buzz Bands archives the past couple of weeks, I decided that for tonight’s L.A. Buzz Bands Show I’m putting all the freshly minted music on the shelf for a week. Instead, tonight’s special edition of the show on KCSN (88.5 FM, streaming at KCSN.org) will be called “Ten Years After: Buzzin’ 2007.” It the first of several shows I’ve prepared for throughout this year that features bands who were making noise 10 years ago.

The first part of the series will feature 15 bands who are no longer around (or on a really long hiatus). L.A. long-timers will recognize many of these artists; if you’re newer to the scene, be aware that many of the principals involved in these bands are still around and doing great things, just not in these incarnations.

Climb into the Wayback Machine with me at 9 p.m. If you’re out of FM range, stream the show here
