► The official Opening Night at the Hollywood Bowl goes off with the Moody Blues — celebrating th 50th anniversary of “Days of Future Passed” — the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and fireworks.
► Roots music octet The Dustbowl Revival celebrate the release of their new self-titled album with a show the Teragram Ballroom. Birds of Chicago open. (Note: This show was erroneously listed as Friday on our site yesterday; we apologize for the error.)
► The Record Company headline the Fonda Theatre, with the Brothers Comatose opening.
► Chicano Batman plays a free show at One Colorado as part of KCRW Summer Nights.
► Drab Majesty rocks the Echoplex, joined by Xeno & Oaklander, Chasms and Tamara Sky.
► And it’s Reeve Carney at the Troubadour, along with O’Neill Hudson.
