► Experimental punk quartet Algiers visits the Echo in support of their new album “The Underside of Power” (their second), with Sextile and Moon Diagrams supporting.
► The Retro Futura Tour rekindles the sounds of the ’80s, with Howard Jones and Paul Young being joined by English Beat, Men Without Hats, Katrina and the Waves and Modern English at the Greek Theatre
► The Coffeehouse Live Tour sees Joshua Radin and Rachael Yamagata visiting the Belasco Theater, along with Brandon Jenner.
► Australia’s the Delta Riggs play downtown’s Resident, joined by the Soft White Sixties.
► Local alt-poppers YOYA preview some new songs at the Hi Hat, joined by J.E. Sunde, Ryan Lerman and Philip Krohnengold.
► New Yorkers Cymbals Eat Guitars rock the Bootleg Theater behind their new album “Pretty Years,” with Palo Duro supporting.
