► Austin metal quartet The Sword, who recently releeased their first lvie album, “Greetings From …,” rock the El Rey Theatre, with Big Jesus & All Souls supporting.
► U.K. DJ/producer Roni Size, touring the U.S. on the 20th anniversary of his winning the Mercury Music Prize for “New Forms,” does a DJ set at the Roxy Theatre, with Lost City opening.
Gin Blossoms and Letters to Cleo perform at The Grove’s free Summer Concert Series.
Dzang celebrates the release of the new album “3G” with a show at he Hi Hat, with Cones and Maxim Ludwig supporting.
► Nineteen-year-old Norwegian Jerry Folk visits the Echo in support of his EP “Purple Evenings.”
