► Third Eye Blind and Silversun Pickups team up for a night at the Greek Theatre.
► Sufjan Stevens, along with Nico Muhly, Bryce Dessner and James McAlister, perform “Planetarium” on the Fairbanks Lawn at Hollywood Forever cemetery.
► Dead Kennedys play a sold-out show at the Echoplex, joined by Wraths (ft. Jim Lindbergh from Pennywise), The Gears and the Last Internationale.
► At the free Twilight Concerts series at the Santa Monica Pier, it’s Eric Burdon & The Animals, along with Mr. Elevator.
► Zola Jesus, joins Peaking Lights, Smerz and DJ Michael Stock at the free MOCA Music Series at Little Tokyo’s Geffen Contemporary at MOCA.
► This month’s free Rebel Rebel series continues its run of Thursdays at the Hammer Museum, with Elohim, Suzi Analogue and KCRW DJ Marion Hodges
► With their album “I’ll Be Yours” on the way, the Americans rock the Bootleg Theater, supported by Laura Jean Anderson and Camila Webb.
► Brainstory plays the free show under the stars at Levitt Pavilion Los Angeles.
