Rocker Grace Potter, along with The Revolution (the late Prince’s band, performing his songs), head up the lineup for Monday’s Nightshift Labor Day Music Fest in Grand Park in downtown Los Angeles.

Besides its stacked lineup — Poncho Sanchez, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Ozomatli and the B-Side Players round out the bill — the sixth annual festival will celebrate L.A.’s labor history and the working men and women of the city. Union and political leaders will be on hand; there will be a low rider car show; and the event will have the usual festival accoutrements of food trucks and a beer garden. Proceeds from the festival will benefit WCA, a non-profit organization that fosters social innovation and invests in improving low-income communities.

Tickets are $20 and available here.
